Today we worked at parkside. This morning we discussed what we would be doing during the day. In the morning we found out that we would be meeting the manager of 'Shakin' Moo's', and we discussed what sort of questions we are going to be asking him (Chris). We have been asked to produce a leaflet, slideshow or any other medium to promote 'Shakin' Moo's'. We had to ask Chris what to advertise; e.g. the product, a special offer... And what sort of medium would be best for advetrising 'Shakin' Moo's'; e.g a leaflet, poster, email campaign, website- facebook, news letter, slide show+ music, video advert or radio.

I worked in a group with Rebecca Purkis and Hannah Bicknell, and we chose to make a leaflet and do a special offer, which was to do a happy hour maybe a couple of times a month or 2months. We also came up with the idea of having tasters so people can "try before you buy." But the tasters arent free because otherwise people might take advantage and take loads and not end up buying a drink, which would cost quite alot and not make a profit for the buisness, so we made the tasters 20p each or maybe more in the future. We have decided to stay with the cowmoofalge and the colours (pink and blue) because they are good and suit the shop very well. :)

I cant think of anything else to say so... byeee xx XD

Hi Emily

This is good but a little confusing??? You should have created a new blog to record your work on the Campaign unit of work - please have a word with me if you are not sure.

In the morning we got into our groups and finnished off our catering leaflets, by adding pictures, changing the font of the writing to match the style of the leaflet.

In the afternoon we went out and took some pictures of things such as a bin, Mr Hind's car, and various othe objects.
After that we opened them up onto photoshop, to 'tweek' them up a little bit by taking away little bits of dirt, changin the tone and contrasts of the colours, darkening the edges and so on.

I took this picture because I liked all of the different colours used in it.

This is a picture of Mr Hind's car, which I am going to adjust later on.
